Richards Enterprises, Inc. RMA and Warranty Information

If your equipment is out of warranty, you may call us for advice on repair   or upgrade.

RMA Policies and Guidelines

Please call (724) 463-8910 to obtain an RMA number. Please have your invoice ready. An RMA Number is void after (15) days from the date of the original issuance.

Please label each package as follows: RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC.    Attn. RMA Dept.    Philadelphia St    Indiana, PA 15701    Mark the RMA Number on the outside of each package clearly. Merchandise delivered to us without an RMA number will be refused.

A proof of purchase, which is a copy of your invoice, must accompany every return. "A proof of purchase, which is a copy of your invoice, must accompany every return."

All returned products must be packed in their original boxes with all accessories and documentation included. The final approval is contingent upon receipt and inspection of returned products by Richards Enterprises, Inc.

All RMA shipments must be prepaid by the customer and delivered to the above RMA address. A COD shipment will be refused. The customer must insure and accept the liability for loss or damage to the products.

Richards Enterprises, Inc. will not ship the new and/or replacement products without an appropriate guarantee, which is usually secured by a credit card charge, which will then be refunded when the old part is returned. Or, you may send us the old part first, and then we will ship the new one to you. We will ship and pay for, in the same method you ship the products to us, the replaced or repaired products back to you.

Richards Enterprises, Inc. will repair, replace, or substitute with equal or higher level products, the defective products at our own discretion when performing the service.

Richards Enterprises, Inc. will take no responsibility for any data left on hard drives or data lost due to a product failure. The customer must complete backups of data prior to the return of products.

If returned items are found to be functioning properly, the customer will be charged a minimum of $40.00 for service, plus $50.00 for each additional hour, to the nearest half hour.

Please be advised that the service or credit may be delayed or otherwise affected if the above procedures are not followed. Richards Enterprises, Inc. will not be responsible for any consequences due to such noncompliance.

System Warranty

Richards Enterprises, Inc. ("Seller") warrants its computer system, ("System"), to the original purchaser ("Customer"), against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) years from the date of the original Seller invoice under normal use and service. Seller warrants the monitor to the original purchaser, against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original Seller invoice under normal use and service. The 2nd and 3rd year are covered by the manufacturer.

 A Richards Enterprises, Inc. system ("System") is defined as a computer system manufactured by Seller, which consists of a mother board, main memory, case, power supply, disk controller(s), video adaptor, input/output controller(s), and port(s), floppy disk drive(s), hard disk    drive(s) and monitor. This warranty only covers the Richards Enterprises, Inc. computer    system, which is bootable through a primary floppy drive.

This warranty does not cover damages resulting from alterations, assembly, negligence, accidents, misuse, abuse, improper power source, improper operating environment, or repairs and services rendered by anyone    other than a service representative authorized by Richards Enterprises, Inc., or perils such as war, fire, theft, water, or vandalism.

This warranty is valid only within the United States and applies only    to merchandise which is new and in original packaging which is unopened on    the date of purchase.

Warranty Specifics

Richards Enterprises, Inc. and its authorized technicians only may perform all warranty services. Richards Enterprises, Inc. shall not be responsible and will    not honor any warranty claims resulting from any other services rendered to the Richards Enterprises, Inc. system, unless authorized by Richards Enterprises, Inc. At the sole discretion of Richards Enterprises, Inc., the system    or its components may be repaired, replaced, or substituted. Customer's sole   and exclusive remedy for claims under this warranty is through this warranty    service.

To acquire warranty service, the customer must first contact Richards Enterprises, Inc. An RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of each return   package. All returned merchandise must be packed in their original packaging    including all original accessories and documents. The customer must prepay    and insure all return shipment(s), and address to "RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. , Attn: RMA Dept., 245 Philadelphia St, Indiana, PA 15701" Risk of loss due to improper packaging, labeling or delivery is solely the responsibility of the customer.

Additionally, all merchandise to be returned under this privilege must be processed according to the instructions as described in the RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC.   RMA POLICY.

Return Merchandise Policy

A Richards Enterprises, Inc. System may only be returned for credit or refund no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the original Richards Enterprises, Inc.    invoice. An RMA number must accompany any Richards Enterprises, Inc. system return(s).

All returns must comply with the instructions in the RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. RMA   POLICY. All manufacturer's warranty cards, where applicable, and manuals    must be left blank and returned with the system. Customers should leave the   warranty cards, where applicable, blank until after thirty (30) days. "All returns must comply with the instructions in the Richards Enterprises RMA    POLICY. After fifteen (15) days from the date of the original invoice, and    before thirty (30) days from the date of the original invoice, merchandise    may be returned under the same conditions as described in the above   paragraphs and shall be subject to a minimum of twenty percent (20%) restocking and handling charge. IF THIS SYSTEM IS NOT IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AS WARRANTED ABOVE, YOUR    SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED ABOVE.    IN NO EVENT WILL RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR    ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MERCHANDISE. THIS    LIMITATION APPLIES TO DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT   DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER SPECIAL INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY    OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE    ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH SYSTEM, EVEN IF RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. OR AN AUTHORIZED RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. REPRESENTATIVE OR DEALER HAS BEEN   ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR OF ANY CLAIM OF ANY OTHER    PARTY. SOME STATES DO NO ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR   CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR SOME PRODUCTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR    EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER    RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Parts Warranties

All computer components and parts ("Merchandise") sold   through Richards Enterprises, Inc. ("Seller"), with the exception of    the central processing units, coprocessors, and memory products, are covered    by a one (1) ‑year manufacturer's warranty on parts, from the    date of the original invoice, to the original purchaser, under normal use    and service. The responsibility of Richards Enterprises, Inc. is limited to what    is described in the section "Return Privilege" below. Central    processing units are covered by a thirty (30) day parts and labor   manufacturer's warranty, from the date of the original invoice, to the    original purchaser, under normal use and service.

This warranty does not cover damages resulting from alterations, assembly, negligence, accidents, misuse, abuse, improper power source, improper operating environment, or repairs and services rendered by anyone    other than a service representative authorized by Richards Enterprises, Inc., or    perils such as war, fire, theft, water, or vandalism.

This warranty is valid only within the United States and applies only    to merchandise which are new and in original packaging which are unopened on    the date of purchase.

Warranty Services

The original manufacturer performs all warranty services on individually sold parts. Richards Enterprises, Inc. shall not be responsible and will not honor any warranty claims    resulting from any other services rendered to the merchandise. Richards Enterprises, Inc.    shall only provide the services as described in the section titled    "Return Privilege" below.

To exercise this privilege, the customer must first contact Richards Enterprises, Inc. An RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of each return   package. All returned merchandise must be packed in their original packaging    including all original accessories and documents. The customer must prepay    and insure all return shipment(s), and address to "RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC., ATTN: RMA DEPT., 245 Philadelphia St, Indiana, PA 15701" Risk    of loss due to improper labeling or delivery is solely the responsibility of    the customer.

Additionally, all merchandise to be returned under this privilege must    be processed according to the instructions as described in the RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC.    RMA POLICY.

Merchandise may only be returned for credit or refund no later than    fifteen (15) days from the date of the original RICHARDS ENTERPRISES, INC. invoice and    must be accompanied by an RMA number. Customers should leave all    manufacturers’ warranty cards, where applicable, blank until after thirty (30) days.
